Course Objectives

After you select a course, open My Path. This is Orbit’s map of your course: every chapter, every learning objective, and how close you are to exam-ready.

My Path shows your overall mastery, accuracy, questions answered, day streak, a chapter list, a study heatmap, and Focus Areas — the objectives that still need work.

Work an objective like this:

  1. Click a chapter on My Path.
  2. Read the objective list. Each one moves from not started, to beginner, to needs review, to mastered as you practice.
  3. Click Practice on one objective. Orbit builds a short quiz (about ten questions) and opens the quiz player. You will draw structures, push arrows, name compounds, and work spectra — not just multiple choice.
  4. Your results write back to that objective, so the next session is aimed at what you missed.
  5. When several skills are weak, use Practice Weak Areas on My Path. That mixed review pulls published questions across your focus objectives.
Take Note

Chapter Practice targets one objective and may use AI to fill an empty question pool (that uses tokens). Practice Weak Areas is course-wide review from the published bank and does not charge that quiz fee. Both update mastery on My Path.

Action

Open My Path, choose your first chapter, and run Practice on one objective before you read further in the textbook.
