Quizzes with Orbit

Orbit quizzes are how you practice for exams. There are thousands of Organic and General Chemistry problems: multiple choice, numeric work, nomenclature, skeletal drawing, Lewis structures, Newman projections, arrow-pushing, and spectra. Instant feedback is written for the question type you just tried — not a generic “try again.”

You can start a quiz in three ways:

1. From a course objective

On a chapter page in My Path, click Practice on the objective you are studying. That is the fastest way to stay aligned with your course.

2. From My Path or Orbit Home

Use Practice Weak Areas for a mixed review of skills that need work, or start a Quick Quiz from Orbit Home. You can also browse My Quizzes by Organic or General Chemistry topic.

3. From Orbit chat

This is the most flexible path. Open chat with Orbit and ask him for a quiz in plain language, for example:

“Quiz me on electrophilic aromatic substitution.”
“Give me a short quiz on acid–base equilibria.”

You can also work a topic until he replies with a tutorial. When you see Ready to test your knowledge? click here, that link generates a quiz from the conversation and loads it in chat.

Draw a molecule or attach a photo of homework, notes, or a spectrum, then ask him to quiz you on that.

Action

Open Orbit chat and try: “Quiz me on the topic I should practice next.” If you already worked an objective on My Path, ask him to quiz you on that same skill.

Pitfall

Quizzes generated from chat, and chapter Practice that fills an empty objective with AI questions, use tokens. If generation fails, check your token balance. Practice Weak Areas still works without that fee because it uses the published question bank.

Every quiz attempt feeds My Path. The more you practice through Orbit, the better he is at pointing you at the next gap.
