In this example, you will create a neutral bromine atom using the chemistry editor below.

ActionCreate a HBr as in the previous example, but after clicking on the charge Tool   on the left, select the negative charge tool  .  Then click on the Br to add the negative charge.  Did you notice the hydrogen H atom disappeared?  A bromine anion would not have any formal bonds.
