2D Structure Questions

You will be drawing many 2D structures.  Lets start out and see if we can draw a simple organic molecule called propane which is just 3 carbon bonded in a straight chain.

Action

Select the bond tool ()and then click once on the drawing canvas.  You've drawn ethane!  Now click on one end of the ethane to add another CH₃ (methyl) group to the end.  You should have something like this, which is one way to represent propane.  In the 2D editor, you build structures by clicking on the carbons to add additional carbons using the bond tool.
